Jim Wang was born and raised in New York and founded Wallet Hacks in 2015 and Bargaineering in 2004. As a long-time fan of the personal finance community, he felt the absence of a strong content curation service and sought to build Apex Money to fill that void.

J.D. Roth was born and raised in Oregon and founded Get Rich Slowly in 2006. JD loves to write, and it shines in his work on Get Rich Slowly, but he also loves to read. As the chief content curator of Apex Money, it’s this love that shines through in the content we share.
